After the completion of the project, the gas storage capacity of Wen 23 gas storage can be increased by 20% as a whole, which is of great significance to further improve the gas storage peak regulation and emergency support capabilities of my country's natural gas pipeline network.
Wen 23 gas storage is located in Puyang, Henan, in the center of the North China Plain, with a total designed storage capacity of 10.3 billion cubic meters and a working gas volume of 4 billion cubic meters. cubic meters, it was completed and put into operation in July 2019. The second phase of the construction project planned to drill 24 new injection and production wells, expand the existing injection and production station, increase the gas injection compressor unit, and build 4 cluster well sites and the main line project of injection, gas production, gathering and transportation. After the completion of the second phase of the project, 1.934 billion cubic meters of storage capacity and 735 million cubic meters of working gas can be added to achieve the construction goals of a total gas injection scale of 24 million cubic meters per day and a gas production scale of 39 million cubic meters per day. Improve the gas storage and peak shaving capacity of Wen 23 gas storage.
Wen 23 gas storage is a natural gas storage and peak shaving facility with the largest storage capacity, the highest pressure and the strongest peak shaving capability in the central and eastern regions of my country. The “One National Network” is connected, and the gas injection volume will exceed 1 billion cubic meters in 2022, with an average daily gas injection volume of 14.5 million cubic meters.
In 2020, five departments including the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Natural Gas Reserve Capacity" to further accelerate the construction of gas storage infrastructure and enhance natural gas reserve capacity. As the "national team" in the energy field, the National Pipeline Network Group undertakes the investment, construction and operation of infrastructure such as gas storage and peak shaving. In addition to the Wen 23 gas storage, this year will continue to promote the Jintan and Liuzhuang gas storages under its jurisdiction. Rongda production and construction of Tianjin LNG Terminal Phase II, Shandong Longkou LNG Terminal Phase I, Zhangzhou LNG Terminal Phase I (Phase I), Shenzhen LNG Emergency Peak Shaving Station project construction, the total gas storage capacity is expected to exceed 12 billion by the end of the year cubic meters, an increase of 650 million cubic meters of gas storage capacity compared with 2021.
In addition, according to the gas storage capacity construction plan, the National Pipeline Network Group will further accelerate the construction of LNG receiving stations and underground gas storage during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, rapidly increase the scale of LNG receiving and gas storage peak regulation, and the newly added gas storage capacity will exceed Ten billion cubic meters, providing important support for the construction of my country's natural gas production, supply, storage and sales system.
